I have been looking for some information about the BDS kit, but not much has come up.

What is the general thoughts about the kit? Do the springs hold up good, and not sag like the Rusty's kit? So I have read, the Rusty's kit springs are rated to about stock. If not should I just go on and get front/rear OME springs, and some struts, dunno which ones since the Rancho's are discontinued?

I searched here and on LOST, but I cannot find any information talking about anyone who has the BDS kit.

http://www.bds-suspension.com/kits/442H

That is the kit I was looking at getting...along with some new Front struts.

Their might be a reason you cant find much info on the BDS lift.:D:D:D:D:D:D I did alot of research about this before I purchased new springs/shocks and everywhere I looked, I found OME w/Rancho and/or Frankenlift. Im glad I went with the OME/Rancho because the ride is exceptional. Also, I found Rancho RSX 17505 and 17004 at JEGS.com not all that long ago, Good luck!

Not sure why you couldn't find information since its out there on both sites.
front spring rate for BDS is 435 lb
rear is 210 lb
compared to say OME 927s at 400
Rustys are 310 lb
Skyjacker Softride 310 lb
Skyjacker non softride ( only produced a few in the ver beginning ) 425 lb

skyjacker softride REAR coils are the heaviest spring rates I can find. Even more than OME.

As far as BDS is concerned...it stands for Big D!&% Suspension. They do heavy rock crawling and competition systems. There stuff is simple....but tough as nails. The KJ lift however, I have not seen before on a rig and I can only go by the "stats" quoted by BDS

I agree Ryan but some think they have to go their own way no matter that 1000's use the OME and have no problems:D

Love the BDS lift on my KJ. Ran it since 2005. My vehicle is on their Pride n Joy section. Do a search for Jeep --> Liberty --> 2004

The suspension has been great and installed without a problem. The Springs are nice and bulky. I did have to upgrade to the Jeepin By Al upper control arms though because the stock upper control arm ball joint would flex into the spring during articulation (not enough length). That might be something to consider for other lifts as well but I did after installing the BDS.

I have had the BDS kit too, but only for a month so far - I have to say that it is very well built - they have a great Warranty if needed and was easy to install... My front was at 19" before install and 23 after install -that is with no additional spacers or clevis lift.
