I just put my new harbor Freight air horn kit on today and it sounds nice, but I went to test it and the circuit went dead(It fired like 5 or 6 times in the driveway). I can't find any blown fuses under the hood or a fuse marked horn. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere or am I screwed?

The compressor is too much for the stock horn you have to wire in the relay it comes with or you buy one. The regular horn wires go to the relay then power from the battery to the relay then to the compressor. You can put in a higher amp fuse but it is not safe but is what I have done in the past. There is another panel of fuses under the left side cover of the dashboard it should be in there a 15 amp fuse in cavity one for Horn Relay, Power Sunroof Relay, Power Window Relay. If that fuse is not blown then check the horn relay not sure on how much current they can handle. Sorry I don't know where the horn relay is I did not find it in the user manual.

Thanks, I forgot about the side panel. It came with a relay but I thought since it ran in the driveway it was alright without it. Oh well. Tweaking time :)

I was about to get on my way to Houston, TX; had a trailer to pick up and drop (here now), so I could not take the time to look too much. WiFi *****, just sitting here waiting to get my truck unloaded, then I pick up another one. Hope it works out for you! With high power devices you should always use a relay to power the device. Well anyways, good wiring.
