Maybe call the dealer as well, see what the Mopar hitch runs.

If you're comfortable with doing it yourself I'd recommend Etrailer. I've dealt with them a couple times in the past and they've always been good to deal with. They may have a youtube video showing installation if you need it.

X2.... I bought mine from Etrailer and got it installed in about an hour, took some time since mine never had a gas tank skid so the bolt holes needed cleaning, and i had to install a trailer harness and such also. But overall it was a pretty easy job.

I got putnam class 3 hitch for $150. For bolts and it was up. I don't have a wire harness yet but that's like another $50 to $100. All in all it's still a lot cheaper than going to the dealer.

I did a Hidden Hitch on mine in about 10 minutes. 6 bolts straight up with a battery powered impact gun. 7 wire harness is for trailer brakes. If you need that then you should consider the factory hitch package for the engine driven fan to get the increased cooling.

I stuff my 4 wire harness up in the hollow portion of the hitch to hide it. I use the hitch for a bike rack so I have yet to use the harness.

I hung a Curt on the back. Just had to run a tap thru the frame nut plates.

I also opted to install the factory harness kit. I like having a constant "hot" wire on my trailers and add back-up lights to them.
