Best Windshield Wiper Fluid???

I searched and couldn't find anything on this but what do you guys recommend for windshield wiper fluid? I just bought my KJ 2 weeks ago from a dealership that gets mild winter weather. I brought it back home to the SWVA mountains and its below freezing with snow everywhere!

Of course my wiper fluid has now been frozen solid for days (I live in an apartment and don't have a garage). The problem is that all the salt makes my windshield almost impossible to see out of. I've been carrying Windex and paper towels with me everywhere I go and cleaning the salt off manually.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good wiper fluid that isn't as proned to freezing?

I also purch. a used 07 KJ around mid. Nov. 09 (I'm in MT).
Very cold over night. I went out yesterday, messy roads w/ salt & found the same problem, summer fluid in the washer tank. I finally got my fronts to spray but I gave up on the back. I found some better fluid at Wally-World,
Prestone 3X the power stuff. The only problem is I need to drain my tank &
some how thaw out the rest of the vech. to get the new fluid to the rear sprayer. I park in a un-heated garage & its below freezing out side in day also. I parked in the sun some yesterday but the temps. were in the 20's & still didn't thaw it.
Can anyone tell me where the fluid line is located from the tank to the rear?
Is it under the vech. exposed or in the body panel? Maybe I can put a heater around that area & get it free so I can get the newer fluid stuff thru-out the system.
Any body have any ideas...

I bought some of that Prestone 3X washer fluid at walmart in the states when I was there last week. I used up half a bottle during my travels so far. Pretty good stuff. Even with cold temps up here in canada, the back and front sprayed no problem.

THX for the good tip, now if I can just warm up the car enough to get the new fluid to the rear spray noz.
Is that the reason its so cold here in Montana, all those Canadian cold fronts being pushed our way. HA HA burrr!!

Both my front and back sprayer nozzles froze up on me a couple of days ago and it was the rain-x winter stuff too that was supposed to be good for -25 degrees. They did thaw out as we had a +22 degree heat wave.

I just bought a bottle of the Prestone and will try that.

You Canadians need to keep your cold winds up there......brrrrr..haha

Thanks for the suggestions. Will definitely have to try out some of the Prestone fluid. Until my other fluid thaws out, you'll spot me around town with some Windex and paper towels!

Water (dealer uses it). But, we only get below freezing a dozen times a year...but next fill we be regualar Blue Juice. None of the bug remover stuff, hurts clear coat...

I use Rain-X De-Icer and Bug Remover. It is good down to -25 degrees.

They have a De-Icer only good down to -25 degrees.

They also have Rain-X All Season that is good down to 0 degrees for those of you that don't dip below 0.

I love my Rain-X wash. It works very well.

Pretty sure this is what I use. I didnt know they made the orange in regular all season and also deicer(-25). I only use the stuff when it rains since I also believe its bad on the Clear Coat. If my windshield is dirty when its dry I manually clean it while getting gas. I simply cannot stand riding with someone that doesnt use Rain X. Its 100% impossible to see anything and backed with bad wipers its very dangerous.

The bug juice that I saw was only good to +20 F. Kept me from buying it.

Available for use in Canada. I use the RainX stuff and have never had an issue.

I buy the least expensive windshield washer fluid I can find.
Last year Walmart had summer windshield washer fluid on sale
for ¢.99 per gallon.
Then I just add 1 litre of methyl hydrate (wood alcohol) to the
washer reservoir during the winter months and it works wonders
keeping the windshield squeaky clean and all the washer hoses
from freezing below zero.

They only sell the De-Icer and Bug Remover around here.

I'm not sure where the idea came from that the De-Icer and Bug Remover is bad for the clear, but I have never had an issue. My black trim around the windshield hasn't show any signs of wear an neither has the clear. And trust me, I check it often. I know a lot of people that use the Rain-X Bug and Tar remover on their clear all the time. What is the difference in the Bug and Tar Remover and the Bug Remover found in their washer fluid?

After I use bug and tar remover on paint, I re wax the area....

As do I. It isn't hurting the clear any, just removing the wax. I don't think the Rain-X fluid is powerful enough nor consentrated enough on the vehicle to remove much if any wax when it does come in contact with the clear.

Prestone De-Icer always works for me in the winter, that and some new wiper blades keep the windshield clear all winter.

Summer time i just run whatever cheap blue washer fluid in the store.

Don't use this stuff.
It's expensive and doesn't work very well.

Anything with "Thunder" somewhere in its name can't be great.
