So there is enough room to slide a tow strap onto the hook without removing the "knockouts"?

Kinda, what I did was slide the thinner part of the loop on, then pull it through. I might cut them though, don't think I'd fell like doing that in the muck....:eek:

I think I will too...I'd use the dremel, but I can't to the curve...

HJ, I cut my bumper with a dremel when I installed my hooks and it went through the plastic like it was butter. Just follow the indentation on the bumper.

I think I would put tape on it to try and keep paint from chipping.

I'd definitely use masking tape to keep it from "walking"....project for this weekend...
