When the wheel is at full lock and am turning it feels like the whole tire is slipping/moving almost like a wobble of sorts. Seems to be only when turning left. Any thoughts????

I'm talking about making a a turn into lets say a parking spot or the like. No 4 wheel, just regular 2 wheel. Not really holding full lock(where you can hear the pump), but all the way turned..sharp turn!

Sounds like youre making a sharp turn to me.. Of course the wheels are going to slip a little.

Check out the tie rod ends, steering rack, ball joints, and wheel bearings just to make sure though.

Mine does that too. And it has done it since it was new. It is just that the wheels will turn farther than the jeep can turn. It starts to try to "push" the front end. That is where the wobble comes from. It CAN turn that sharp, you just have to slow down to a low idle.

Yep, just skidding a bit in a sharp turn... Speed makes a big difference there.

Mine Does the same. Also, Road conditions and even new black top plays a roll. when my road got re-paved. I went to turn around and depsite my wheels where near full lock . my jeep was pushed straight. I'm the hill section of my street and I was Facing down the hill and U turning to go back up. I still feel the push when I make tight turns in wet weather. Just have to adjust your driving for it.

So, it sounds a bit normal...whew! This is noticed at low speed(1-4mph) and on dry flat ground turning left at almost full lock. I know it does something similar on slippery conditions, but this is not the case. Thanks evry1....

Doesn't sound normal to ThunderbirdJunkie, for he has never experienced this phenomenon in any KJ with a tight front end.
