I use Amsoil Severe Gear synthetic lube. Matter of fact, I only use Amsoil products in my KJ.

If you're LIberty is basically a daily driver, use 75W90. If it's a daily driver and you wheel it (off-road) 75W110 is a great choice. (Which is what I run). If you tow (boat, camper, trailer) then 75W140 is the recommended.

IF you should decide to use Amsoil, member JJsKJ is a dealer in California. Regardless of where you live, I highly recommend you order from him and your order will ship from either the closest distribution center to you, or the HQ warehouse in Wisconsin. His site is www.hotrodoil.com

He may chime in here so feel free to PM or ask him with any questions you may have.

Thanks Oddball!

You can't beat the Severe Gear line for performance! You can my cost on your orders over the phone via CC or for an extra couple percent through my paypal account.
I personally use the SG 75w110 in all four of my Jeeps in both diffs.

But of course. Amsoil has their Fully synthetic ATF available for auto trans applications. I sent out a case for the LOST JEEPS Ouray run recently for their raffle and some will be heading to the East coast LOST JEEPS run here soon. I use it in all of my Jeeps in both the trans and transfer cases.

Amsoil also has the best full syn Synchromesh fluid available for the manual trans applications. I have heardnothing but great reports from customers using either fluid.

LMK if you need a quote or more info.

I ran 80w90 for a while. If its a street cruiser, mostly hwy. It should be fine. But it would be better to run 75w90. Its only $3 more a quart.
