Apparently, I have a leak on my front and rear differentials where the drive shaft meets up.

On a difficulty level, what am I looking at as far as doing it myself?

I guess the seals are bad and the dealer, of course, wants about $200 per end.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds like your front and rear pinion seals are leaking. This involves removing the drivelines, removing the yokes, installing new seals and pinion nuts, reinstalling the yokes, tightening the pinion nuts to the correct torque without crushing the crush sleeve anymore than it already is (the crush sleeves adjust the amount of preload and rotating torque on the pinion bearings), and reinstalling the drivelines.

Not sure that I have the tools to do all this. Is it possible for me to do at home? What tools would I need?

Sure, you can keep adding, just make sure you don't run dry... However, for the REAR, you'd have to be certain you don't even run down to half; that's the one that works the most. A few spoon full a day leaks are tolerable, I think most people would let that ride for a while too...

As others have said, you can run it for a while if it's leaking. Just keep a close eye on the fluid level though.
