Smoked would be cheaper and a project you could do yourself, but clear would look sick imo.

Yea, just read about the VHT Night Shades spray, I'll try that.

smoked would blend in with the bumper I suppose and that would look cool too. I bought my clear ones on fleabay for 24 bucks shipped, not a big invesment and they came with the amber bulbs, which you'll need. I think either or will really complete the front, you've got the look I wanted for my silver KJ, I wanted to go with black rims, dark window tint, keep it all black and silver. I've got the limited, so clear blinkers blend well with the sliver bumper cover. T

Thanks, I think I'll smoke them. If they turn out bad I'll just get clear ones.

your liberty is the same colors as mine so i spent a little time on photoshop i think the tint and smoking would look sweet

Thanks for doing that, I'm really digging the looks. Just need a bigger paycheck everyweek!

do smoked turn signals, clears have been done to death and look cheap

Agreed, I'm going the smoked route.

i have to ask how did you mount your cb antenna ,i like the spot you mounted it

I got the mount at RadioShack, but I can't find it on their website. It curls underneath the lights and is screwed in.

Very nice looking Jeep. What did you use for the light bar?

It's 1" x 1" aluminum tubing from Home Depot. It cost about $12 for 4 feet and is incredibly strong. I put most of my body weight on it (180) and it barely flexed at all. It's hollow on the inside so drilling the holes is really easy.

Where di you run the wires for the racklights ? I will probably make something alike but with different lights... Where i work i have all them Jetco, Hella, Grote, TruckLite catalogs so i have a ton of choices ...

I'll get some close ups tomorrow, but basically its just run down the door jamb behind the molding so you don't see it.

Thanks guys for the compliments!

lookin good fellow 04 silver owner! what was the thought behind getting the Hella's as opposed to the renegade(stock) light bar? i was debating getting the RLB or getting a roof basket with Hella's.

I love tinted signals (have them) but I like them the most when it starts as a clear signal. It really gives it a more smokey look, which I think is what you're going for. Nobody makes clear lenses for my KJ so I had to tint the stock, and it gave it a really dark amber color. I like my dark amber better than the bright amber, but if I could have tinted clear lenses (like you could) that would be my 1st choice.
