I check the oil filler neck today and there was no white stuff at all. My driving habbits haven't changed at all, but the weather has been warmer.
My goop is gone now too..........good riddance.....geeeeeezzzzz

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but now that cold weather is coming I've been researching this. I have had absolutely no issues with 'goop' in the oil filler neck at all this past summer.
What happens is when you run the engine the PCV valve draws nice warm air up the oil filler tube and causes condensation on the inside of the filler neck, or "goop". There is a TSB on this for the 3.7L and 4.7L to install a new oil filler neck and relocate the PCV valve to the back of the engine.
While I wasn't able to find a free TSB online for the 3.7L, I was able to find one for the 4.7L which is very, very similar.

You can go to alldatadiy.com and see what TSB are available for your vehicle, unfortunatly you have to pay to see the whole TSB.
