Swapping my factory single CD for a factory 6 disc changer when the i-Pod adapter is what I needed/wanted all along (and now have). Now the 6 disc is in a box collecting dust...

Atrus......now that you mention it about the FAT KJ KEY I hate that also. I have a GM car with the smaller key and like that better. I just didn't think of the key as a mod I hated as it's OEM. You gotta be careful how you grab it. I have set the alarm off by mistake with it...haha

every once and a while i almost regret not getting the wrangler then i roll up the windows and turn on the ac, that blows all my regret away. plus if i had gotten the wrangler i would be poorer (higher payment, more mods, more damage )

So far ordering a "Grey" spare tire cover hoping it would match the Sport's plastic bumpers. Turned out being way too light so I negated my cost savings than if I was to just buy an OEM cover.

I regretted a ton of stuff I did on my last car so I'm trying to do things with more thought now. Granted I have no plans driving off road so a lot of my potential expenses aren't too costly.

- Buying an eBay air intake, should have kept the stock intake with a reusable drop-in for the same price

- Should have bought a better head unit with a "aux input" feature to plug in my mp3 player. (Didn't have an mp3 player when i bought it)

- Buying a lift before/along with my tires...now I'm stuck with stock-sized tires with a lift. Doesn't look to bad, plus I can't/couldn't afford to spend $1400 at once.

I regret spraying the flares with bed liner. Should have just left them stock.
The dumbest mod I made were the stick on taillight guards. Ripped them right off the first trail after installing them. Don't get those unless you don't go offroad.

I regret telling my wife
"This is going to be your Jeep I already have mine"
I should have said
"We are married now so what ever we by now is ours what we had before we got married is yours/mine and not ours"
"if you get rid of something old and up grade it is ours if you get something with more options and get one with less then that is still yours"
I had a 3 year old 4X4 truck she a 8 year old toyota corrola when we got married we got the KJ and sold the corrola to a high school kid
a year after that we traded the Ranger for the TJ ,it was an FX4 Ranger with all the power stuff
Had I been careful with my words she could not pull this
"I dont want my jeep getting all beat up on the trails when I have to drive it every day" stuff
cause it would have been ours

Man spraying the bedliner on my flairs, lower 1/3,and the roof has been the single best mod I have ever done, when I get the time the ARB and RL bumbers are getting sprayed to.

I simply regret it because going back to stock to sell the vehicle will be more costly than I want. (I realize that going back to stock is not an option for some)

Why regreat the bed liner? I plan on doing this to mine when it starts to get junky.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just that you may one day need to buy new flares unless you think you can sell it that way or have no plans to, ever.

so the iPod adapter doesn't work with the 6 disc changer? does the single CD changer radio also come with Sirius? If so I may need to do a downgrade to get the iPod adapter installed.

The IPOD adapter utilizes the port that the 6 disk changer uses. So, if you have the changer, there'd be no input for the IPOD.

Socks, have you seen the Detours backbone system? I think it's like $300 and you can use it with the stock bumper.
