I was washing my liberty today and noticed the left front fender flare is falling off. It is hanging down from where it should be. It seems the flare is still attached to the wheel well cover area but this cover has come loose. I wonder how I can fix this? I don't see what is holding it up. I also wonder if my tires caused this because ever since I installed 225/75/16 General Grabber AT2's I did notice a rubbing noise at full left turn from that side of the vehicle. Although I could not see any rubbing marks anywhere but sometimes I am blind.:p

Your tires should not have caused this because they are probably rubbing on the back of your fog light access panel as are mine. I have this same problem with my tires. The flares are held on with plastic clips and riveted to the wheel well liner. Try gving a good push on them to see if you can reseat them. If not, maybe you'll need to replace them. It's fairly easy.

All the clips except one for the flare look good. I think the wheel well liner itself is what is loose.

It doesn't always rub and it seems to do it less now. But when I first got the tires at full left wheel lock there was sometimes a horrible loud rubbing noise.

There's no damage to the fender anywhere I can see. I think I'll take it to the Jeep Parts guy this week and see what he says.

Hmm, well the Liberty flares are pretty tough. If hit just right and by the right vehicle, they may not show anything.
