Yeah wash it out, I think it will be just clean. Or even better fish your couch and cut a piece out, cover it back with its lining.... this will work until your wife or mom finds out, and sticks your head in that hallow space.. :D

Wix? OK, will look for a good one. Any size etc, I should look for or all of them for DC same?

They should have a cross-reference book at the auto parts store or some mini computer. If not, someone should be able to look it up for you. All air filters are the same for the KJ, KA and KK, no matter the engine.

OK. Thanks. When I was a kid I used to work at Auto Parts store. I was not into cars, and used to learn driving on an old Italian knock off wagon with manual transmission. I used to see the air filters everywhere, and never thought I would have use for them one day. Gaskets were second, and carrying hoods from w/h to the showroom was my duty.. I used to sneak the keys for the italian manual ****** and drive it to the w/h instead of carrying damn HEAVY bmw hoods.. old days.. just worked like 5 months and then quit. I should have had more interest in that job! Kid... what do you expect. Was like 14-15 at that time.

A replacement SpongeBob LibertyPants? Whatever the cost, I'm sure it's extremely cheap. You could probably just go buy a sponge from the dollar store and cut it to fit.

As was already said, if you're going to buy a permanent filter as a replacement, buy a Wix. You won't find them in any store, except for the parts they make for NAPA, so look around online for a specialty shop. K&N...I just hate. Flame away, K&N is notorious for "increased airflow" via larger holes that allow too much grime through. I would even use a Fram Airhog before K&N, they're a lot cheaper if you hit the price right. Before I put a CAI in the Charger I had two Fram Airhogs that I alternated through while one was being cleaned. Bought them for $15 total (that's for 2)after sale and rebates. Standard price on them in the store was in the $45 range, each.

Thanks. If I can't find it at any store, I am stuck with whatever they have, I guess.

Damn, now I have to out and see if mine has one.

OK, I just checked and I don't have one, there's not even a sponge holder.

I have a Pre-Lowered 02...must get a signature.

Hey someone stole your spongebob and his house.
Interesting. Was there a problem in the earlier models causing DCx to station our good friend in the box?
