Yea, I'm sick. I think I have Jeep Disease. The KJ has been parked in the garage all last week resting. I miss driving the KJ. It gets good gas mileage sitting in the garage though. I've been driving the car. It's a Olds Cutlass and it gets 28 mpg combined city/highway (mostly highway actually). It is VERY CLEAN - almost detailed clean. I can't stand it any longer. The KJ is splattered in mudd still because the weather turned crummy and I just put it away dirty - in the garage. I just can't seem to keep it as clean as the car. I just decided, tomorrow I'm going to take it out of the garage and air it out. Maby I'll find some more mudd.....and give it too much skinny pedal....and see if I can remember how to get to 4 lo......and...and..ahhhhhh

WHOHOOOOOOOO - I'm starting to feel better already. I don't care how dirty it is or what it gets for gas mileage.........

I hear ya, I've also been avoiding driving. Although I did haul home a 700 pound gun safe yesterday, and am planning a trip out to the desert this weekend. Snow back east, wonderful weather for the desert out here.

Last time I left mine it was for 7 days (went to Vegas). Poor KJ sat in the Airport parking lot for the entire length. I was punished because all the electrical went wacky, but just for that day. I had to stop a couple times to unhook the battery thinking that would solve the problems. Once back home, and the next day, all was perfect again. Nightmares of that nasty welcome home from the KJ.

I am ashamed of myself. I promise I won't do that again.

So you let yours sit for 2 weeks. I wonder who has let theirs sit for the longest time??

Yup, and she wasn't happy when I cranked her up for the first time afterwards. It was right around the time my OEM battery was going out, so after it almost didn't crank up, I heard knocking coming from the engine for a split second, as ALL the oil had dripped down into the pan from the engine.

Not to mention the rust on the brake rotors....
