#83 is going to be a product in meguiars line. It is called Dual Action Cleaner/Polish but people who use the products just go by the numbering system.

Here is a site that sells the product, its the 2nd from the top.

I don't know if claying would work on the windows or not, never tried to clay windows as I haven't had the need to.

I always get waterspots on the glass. I'm not sure what causes it - hard water or the soap or what. I use "invisible glass". It's a spray can - blue with a yellow top from Autozone or Wally Mart. It works really well. Best thing I've found so far anyway. The detailing Guru's might know of something better. I'm sure they will chime in.

blackstone invisible glass for me too, with some rag or newspaper, but newspaper sometimes leaves ink residue as well.

I've heard of the newspaper trick, but I never tried it. I have a bunch of old towels that I use with the "invisible glass" stuff.

Newspaper is the way to go when cleaning glass.....whether it be on the Jeep, or even mirrors and windows in your house!

It's my understanding that it's the ink that does the cleaning not the paper...Best check it out before getting a bunch of unprinted papers.......

Well, we would have 50 lbs of paper if we ended up buying, then..
i found that sometimes ink is left behind on the glass like a tiny black smears.

To clarify

Glass cleaners in a spray bottle work fine. The only problem is over spray on the dash and upholstery. As it is difficult to direct the spray of glass cleaners, you will have the best luck spraying one side of a clean towel, wiping the glass, and they drying with the other side of the towel. Many professional detailers use plain water for wiping and cleaning the windows and dry the glass with newspaper. Unlike paper towels and most cotton towels, newspaper does not leave behind lint and the ink acts as a glass polish. The only draw back to this method is the newsprint ink on your hands when you’re done. Be sure to wash your hands before touching your upholstery.

I have a few rolls of unused newsprint, get them for free... sounds like i might be sitting on a gold mine. I'll have to try it out, the rolls are nice when moving, you can pack up glass and not cover yourself in ink.
