We bought the Weather tech mats for our Grand Cherokee and love them. They are very thick and do no move around at all. Very good fit in the Grand, but Ive never seen a set in a liberty. O:)

I would go with Weathertech. Yes, they are more expensive but they are custom fit for make and model. The Husky is a semi-custom fit and requires some trimming.

Are you talking about the Husky LINERS or the floor mats?

Liners are great! No sliding whatsoever and molded to fit the KJ.

Weathertech is the way to go. They're great. Have Weathertech slush mats and vent visors on both of my cars. Since the only way to buy Weathertech is directly from them, there isn't much you can do by way of shopping around - everyone charges within a buck or two of each other as they all do drop shipments directly from Weathertech. With that in mind, buy from JC Whitney and get the peace of mind of their customer service, plus they have $50 off $300.

I have the Husky as well. No trimming required.

X2. The molded piece fits exactly where it should be. They even have the hook location molded out so that it fits nicely over it. The hook thing is located on the back left near the drivers seat.

I bought a set of WeatherTech's in December and they were definitely worth it. They don't slide around and they keep all dirt, mud, rocks contained. And they are super easy to clean too. The ribs on them aren't very tall so you would think that your feet would slide around on them because they are more plastic than rubberlike, but that isn't the case.

Also take a look at Cabela's Trail Gear2. Those liners look very much like the WeatherTechs and are priced about the same too. WeatherTech may be building them for Cabelas and branding them with the Cabelas Trail Gear badges.

Weathertech is actually a rebrand of sorts, as they are made by MacNeil. Except that MacNeil owns Weathertech and sells stuff under both names. The Weathertech brand seems to have the greatest name recognition, though, so I rarely see MacNeil stuff when Weathertech markets the same product. They did do a couple kinds of vent visors under both names, though.

I love my huskys. Fit right out of the box perfect and the contain dirt, water and spills. I have an 03' with 92k and my floors are still mint.

Hard to do hauling Kayakers, Mtn Bikers, and Rock climbers around. These guys (and the occasional girl!!!) are always wet and muddy!!!

I just ordered the Mopar slush mats from my dealer. They are $77.00 + tax for the front and back. They look good (and even come in Light Khaki to match my KJ), fit perfectly and have the Jeep logo.

I'll post some pics when they come in...

I have the Mopar Slush mats in the KJ now, and they are ok. But I had the Weathertech in a GMC Truck and they were the best for coverage and keeping mud and such off the carpet. I never tried the Husky's. I also put the Mopar cargo area mat in and it has a raised lip on it and covers perfectly. If something spills, it will contain it and save you cleaning the carpet. It's a lot easier cleaning the mats.

Thanks for the input. Snow and slush are not a problem here in Phoenix, so that wasn't a big factor in my choice of mats. Fit anf looks are my main concern to replace the OEM carpet mats.

Can you post some pics/

Thanks....

The Mopar Slush Mats will be fine for you then. I like mine, but sometimes I wish they provided better coverage like the Huskys or Weathertechs. I know you are not concerned with snow and slush, but probably mud - maby? They clean up easily and look good and they say Jeep on them. You will like them. I'm not able to post pic's though.

Nailed it on the head! I've had Husky floorliners in three autos now, and I wouldn't put anything else in it. That is my first "mod" in every auto I buy, even the wife's auto. \:D/
