A friend of mine just installed a Rusty 2.5'' spacer lift on his 06' Sport. Install went pretty smooth and it sits nice but...His upper "A" arms are riding really close to his frame, at the inboard attach points. He's super concerned, and I don't blame him, about doing any wheeling with it like that.

My 04' Sport has a Daystar 2.5'', and my A arm's don't sit anywhere close to where his do.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem??

I'll be taking my camera to work with me tomorrow to take some pics.

Post pics then.........Tony

So why did you let your buddy buy it?

We've been warning people for a long time now about the OTT style lifts and they just don't seem to listen.

He just got his KJ, and he's been watching the progress of mine for a while now. Well, I told him.." If I was to do it all over, I'd go with franknlift or a coil lift instead of the spacers". Although, he did ask me if I have had any problems with my current lift and I couldn't come up with any. Really, I've had absolutely zero problems with my Daystar and it has performed flawlessly for me....basically, I'm pretty happy with it.
I did try to talk him out of getting the Rusty's, and, at least, get a Daystar. He wouldn't listen. Guess he just didn't want to get the same lift I had...stubborn!!
Any way..he's petty much "up sh*ts creek" then, huh?
I told him, a set of those modified A arms might be what he needs. Do you guys think that will work?

PS He didnt show up to work today, so..no pics yet

Tony

Edit: After reading up on all those posts...I'll inform him to get a set of those spings on order.
