I have the BDS 2" lift kit with BDS rear shocks. Can I get away with changing the shocks to these:

Rancho RSX 17004
2.5" lifted KJ Liberty Shocks
These shocks have the proper bushings & length for the lifted KJ Liberty

i am running them on my 2" OME lift with the rancho struts up front
they are excellent

Am I going to notice a ride change if I were to upgrade to the Ranchos? Also, should I upgrade my struts, I did notice them on the website....

I have the equivalent to these shocks in the RS series, and they rattle and make noise like crazy...esp. when cold outside. Physically the RSX and RS shocks look the same. Same housing and shock body and everything. Only internal differneces. I wonder what the difference is that makes the RSX shock OK to use on our KJs?

Try getting them really tight. The bush are just a tad too small. So if you crank them down they will work fine with no rattles. My RSXs rattled when I first put them on. Then I just snugged them up really good and no more rattling.
