I don't know if it is the KJ or my home but twice now my panic alarm has gone off on it's own. Is it just me or have other experienced this? :-s

Do you have a lift? Mine would do that until I installed my lift kit. I think its crying for one nana.gif

It also does it sometimes if you don't take it 4 wheeling enough or wrench on it monthly.

Anyways, you could have the buttons on the remote being pressed when inside your pocket. Sounds unlikely, but happens to me ALL the time. I'll have the keeps in my pocket and working on the jeep and the doors will open, etc. Usually when I resting my arm or something on my pocket with the remote. Also could be your alarm. The panic function severs as the alarm if you have the factory alarm installed.

If you go outside and set off the panic alarm, then the actual alarm, they sound different. I think the panic alarm beeps the horn at a faster rate than the alarm. I would find out which one it is cowcatcher.

The panic alarm can only be turned of with a re push of the panic button I believe and the intrusion by putting the key in the ignition and starting the motor.

Must need the lift! \:D/

Only old houses can be haunted........it's the rule.....

I've set my panic alarm off twice now by accident If it happens again I'm goin to take the key fob thingy out back and mod it with buckshot....

Watch for the "buckshot keyfob mod" thread with pic's and instructions.......

The Body Control Module controls all these functions. The BCM frequently fails on these KJs and then weird things happen. My wife's interior lights would just come on by themselves at random times and her horn would just beep while she was driving. It was weird. You might want to have your BCM replaced.

WOW so soon LibertyCRD. Don't even have 8K on the thing.

I think I will do the skids, the lift, the front hitch, the bull bar and the driving lights first and see if that fixs it. 8-[
