I'd love to see how your Revos look. Still happy? How are they doing?

Thanks!

I just hit 30,000 miles on my REVO's and I can say they have been great ever since I bought them. Tread wear is slightly noticeable. However, I really noticed it when I pulled the spare off the back (never used) and sat the tires side by side.

They still do good on wet roads, and I have yet to see how they do in the snow this year (Michigan weather).

The picture shown was when I pulled a razor blade out of the tire. It looks like the tread is nearly gone, but it has a lot more life left hehe.

The CRD has around 7,200 miles or so, and the REVO's are doing great. Bridgestone had a $75 rebate on the purchase of four tires between September 15th and October 15th, 2005, and the response at our store was awesome. My wife was so happy when her new REVO's came in.....she had the REVO's on her '02 Liberty Sport 4x4 for about 6k miles or so before we traded it in on the '05. She had to run the wimpy P225/75R16 Wrangler ST's for about 1,300 miles or more until the P235/70R16 REVO's came in.....and she could most definitely tell the difference.

Thanks guys. I went and looked at them... they are sweet tires. They make the Goodyears look like dogs (no offense to dogs!).

I'm tyring to get my dealer to upgrade the tires on my TJ that is arriving next week from 30" Wranglers to these, as I can't afford five new tires at full price, for either the KJ or TJ (the wife would kill me). But I do want Revos on the KJ next year... I'll just do it when she's out of town, lol.

Find a multi-brand tire dealer that sells all brands (obviously at least Bridgestones) and pay them a visit....tell them you have a new Jeep on order and you'll drive it straight to their shop within X miles for an agreed upon trade difference. Who knows....your dealer's parts department may even buy them from you for inventory or for a used unit they have on their lot that needs tires. I was able to sell mine back to my dealer with 1,300 miles or so on them....all five wound up on a used KJ.

Not necessarily.....the gas Limiteds are equipped with 17's; the CRD Limiteds are equipped with 16's. Your best bet would be to find someone with a brand new Sport or Renegade w/16's that you could trade tires/wheels with, THEN go in search of some 16" REVO's. Unfortunately, Bridgestone does not produce any P235/65R17 REVO's.

I had the same Bridgestone "Revo's" 235/70 x 16 on my 98 Grand Ltd, once the Goodyear H/P's were done, they were far superior especially in snow.
In the UK the CRD Ltd comes with Goodyear but its the new A/T on a 235/65 x 17 size they look reasonably cool but as soon as they are done I will be back on my OWL Bridgestones again incidentaly they are caled dueller 694 when you order them in the UK they sell for about £74 a tyre,
Quick quessie, on the 05 Renegade here they have a goodyear that is a very aggresive called the Goodyear AT/R triangular blocks rigid straight sidewall tread edge etc anyone know about this one?

My 06 KJ Ltd came with "P235/65TR17 VSB All Season Performance tires." My truck still has less than 1,000 miles on it. I went off road last weekend and thought that the performance of the jeep was great in a sandy / muddy riverbed but the performance of the tires was not. I'd like something more effective off road but still livable on the highway. I keep hearing about these Revos. What are my options for a tire with better off road performance?

Tire sizes - always a question.

I've picked out the new rims that I want for my '04 Liberty. Problem is, they only come in a 17 inch. I would like to put 245/65 17s on them. The tread width is less than half an inch wider than the 245/70 16s. I don't think I'll have a rubbing issue since no one has reported a rubbing issue with the 16s. I have no lift on it. Thoughts any one?

Finally replacing our stockers with the Revos I just purchased from TireRack! (Yes, I used the referral link Bennett has stickied ;-) )

I'll put some pics up when I get them on.

MAFDaddy....I was thinking of that same size (245/65 - 17) as I also have the 17 rims.

Did you put them on??

How are they??

Looks like from what I have read that that is the biggest size that will not rub with no lift.......
