Hey Bennett... I'd be interested in it as well... IF I can get a kit for a different bulb size. I need an H4 kit. Do you think they'll let it slide for that price as well?

Good news

Just got in touch with the seller:

You can get any bulb size for the same price.

We carry H1, H3, H4 H/L, H7, H9, H10, H11, H13, 9005, 9006, 9007 and 9008.

This means you could do your fog lights too if you wanted. crazy.gif

Most aftermarket fogs & aux driving lights are H3's... That means, Bennett, you can light up the night with ease.

I MAY be in for a set for the 9005's (fogs). I gotta clear it with the warden/veto committee.

Incidently, what is the size of the stock fogs?

Did anybody decide any further if they want to be part of the deal??

Also you may order as many sets as you want. You also can order different bulb sizes H1, H3, H4 H/L, H7, H9, H10, H11, H13, 9005, 9006, 9007 and 9008 all for the same price of $224.99 per kit SHIPPED. (The stock liberty bulb head light is 9007 for your reference)

Planning on doing it:
1. Bennett
2. billforde

Still thinking about it.
1. Sean
2. SavageSS27
3. gsbrockman
4. BoeserBlick

We only need 5 sets to make this deal go through and so far we are at 2 sets.

Feel free to post this group buy at any other forums you are on. Also if we get 10 sets the price goes down 4 bucks, not much but somethin.

Thanks,
Bennett

Bennett,
Quick question... Which part of the kit is Hella and/or Catz? I see the kit is branded as HIDynamic, but is there anyway you can find out what part of the kit is Halla and/or Catz? I'm mostly concerned with the ballast & igniter.

Dear Bennett,

Please check the pictures on our front page. The left one uses Hella ballast and the right one uses Catz ballast.

Both of them have very good quality, only differences are one is separated ballast/igniter HID kit, one is integrated HID kit.

Sincerely
Hidynamic

The unit they are quoting us for is the Catz ballast. For bulbs are made by JDM which I was reading are supposed to be pretty good.

Hi guys,

I'd like to get in on this, but only if I can get the kit that has provisions for a high/low beam like BoeserBlick has. Please let me know Bennett.

I just sent the guy an email about the hight low kits, but I have a feeling its going to be a lot more $$$ I was reading though the light doesn't actually get much brighter (because it is already really bright to begin with) but it just shifts the beam upwards so that it extends down the road more, simply by shifting the light a couple degrees.

Also found out the heat production of a xenon high intensity discharge bulb is only 60% of the original halogen application. So you don't have to worry about melting something.

I might not be able to afford any of these kits, but if the hi-lo kit is at the right price, i might be able to scrape the cash together.

damn thats a pretty good price. i remember a few years ago when i bought my HID kit for the neon i paid $330 shipped off of ebay. i took the kit out of the neon when i traded it in for my liberty. i installed the kit in my liberty 3 days after i got it. if ur worried about inspection just disconnect ur hid bulbs then take em out and replace with the stock bulbs. the switch is just a 5- 15 minute project depending on how many times youve done it before.

trust me we have it easy. this switch was a 2 hour project on my neon thanks to the body kit i had on it i had to take off the bumper and take out the headlight assembly to switch em.and even without the body kit u still have to take out the headlight assemblies due to the fact theres no room to get ur hands in behind em i would get in on this group buy but im happy with what ive got now. my kit is from Xenon. it starts off blue then goes to pure white. i love it and it really doesnt blind people in front of me or oncoming traffic.

i was taking my brothers car to his workplace after picking it up from the dealership for him and my gf followed me in my libby. i never realized just how much brighter those lights are. when i was in front of her i made a turn and it looked like i had no headlights at all(this is what happens when u drive a car w/hids for over 2 years and go back to stock yellow headlights) and then when she made the turn the whole road lit up white all around me and way far ahead. i think all new vehicles should come with HIDs because they truly do make the road a lot safer to drive at night. just gotta use the kits that dont blind people. my eyes r sensitive to light and tear up easily if super bright lights hit em. well i stared through the rear view in my brother's car at my HIDs on the libby and it didnt bother my eyes, so id say mine arent as bad as a lot of people say HIDs are.

Regards

Just found out the place were I am getting the group buy doesn't carry hi/lo 9007, because of lack of demand.

If you are really worried about loosing high beams, you could always wire up some auxillary lights if you have a brushguard or bumper mounted lights such as hella 500's

ok, well i do have a set of Hella's on the bumper, so maybe i will just do the headlights...i dunno. i'd really like to convert everything to HID...but that's gonna be WAY expensive, especially if i get those roof lights... Is there a deadline for this buy???

Actually, you probably wouldn't. Auxiliary driving lights are usually angled in such a way as to 'help' main beams. Converting them to HID would blind oncoming traffic. And fogs shouldn't be pure white - as HID's are. Second;y they really shouln't be too bright. Lights that are too bright won't peirce through light but rather reflect off of the water particles in fog - exaserbating your situations (just like when you flash your high beams in fog.)
I considered converting the fogs, but decided against it because - althought very rarely used - I want to have 'functional' fogs.

Bennett is right - the "high" on my high/low kit, is not very pronounced. As I mentoned, the only reason why I insisted on having them is so I pass annual inspection. If it weren't for that, I would have stuck to my (original) single function kit. If you don't need highs to pass inspection, jump on this deal! This is a great deal.

Bennet - I'll let you know if I'm in within this week. In addition to my wife's Cabrio, I think I might do my Hayabusa.

I always have the fogs on when i drive just because i love the way that they light up the road right in front of the KJ, also, it just looks cool. I never drive with the Hellas on when there's traffic around, just so that i don't annoy anyone, so converting then to HID would be feasible for me so they would give off more light for when and if i off-road at night. The fogs i will probably keep stock though, because you make a good point, plus a little contrast in color looks cool.
