anyone have this problem?

have a couple problem anyone else have these? (05 renny)

1 when driving around 15 mph and geting one and off the gas lightly i get a drive line clunk

2 when on a slight incline and moving from drive to park i get a clunk

3 also when on flat i also get it just not as bad

thanks for anyhelp, also the driveshaft is tight no loosness

I usually get number's 2 and 3....

I asked before....@ another jeep forum..and someone said it's just driveline slack. asked dealer to check up on it too, and they said it was normal....

ur number 1 tho.....

when the trans shifts down at around 15 mph and then i give it a little gas and then it clunks pretty good.

I've had it happen once, I thought I'd been rearended, because a minivan was following too close, but what happened, I got the lash, and went over a pothole at the same time. Weird. I found that if you take it out of overdrive it's less likely to happen when in stop and go traffic.

Its normal. I notice it alot in traffic when its in 1st (I have an automatic) and I go to accelerate past 15MPH, I get a chug as it shifts into second. One think I can recomend if make sure to keep the tach around 2k when you accelerate. For me that leads to nice smooth shifts.
