I figured out how to adjust the headlights up and down. How do you adjust them side to side? I have crawled all over them and cannot find an adjuster for the side-to-side.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but I had already read that faq. The screw pointed out in the diagram adjusts the up-and-down. I still can't find the side-to-side adjustment.

Headlight adjustment screw

Had my headlights out today. There is only one adjustment screw on
top of the headlight unit, accessible thru the upper radiator crossmember. I suspect that the headlight lens inside the headlight unit may pivot in a slightly diagonal direction as you turn the vertical adjustment screw, which would tweak the horiz adjustment a bit. But I'm just guessing. I like taking things apart to see how they work, but not in this case! Shop manual only shows one adjustment screw.

Well, that *****!

Thanks for the tip. I have crawled all over my headlight can and don't see any other adjustment for the headlights. Guess I'll have to improvise.

My Liberty's headlight beams are bth focused too far to the right. It seems that the area flooded by the head lights is much smaller than what my SportTrac lights illuminate. I have adjusted the Liberty's lights as high as I think they are safe (from oncomming traffic) and have also adjusted the factory fogs up a bit to take care of the near range. Even so, the lighting pretty much ***** compared to the nice broad and deep lighting I get with my SportTrac.

Maybe I'll try some SiverStars, etc. and see if that helps.

Thanks again.

I agree, the lighting on the KJ is worse than the lighting on my TJ, and they don't have a reputation for good lighting.
