First off, Hi and welcome to the site.

1.) What type/size tire are you running?

Firestone Destination M/T 245/75R16

2.) how do you do a clevis lift? (you have one right?)

Yup, and here's how to do it.
http://www.jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=90&highlight=clevis#451

I moved mine 5/8"

3.)What college do you go to?

Saint Norbert College, in De Pere, WI (near Green Bay-I live in Green Bay)

4.) Are you getting a front bumper? what kind?
Eventually, yes. It is most likely going to be an ARB. I would like to get this sometime before next May.

Thanks,
Bennett

Hey Bennett thanks a lot for your answers. Those tires of yours look sick, but I would have never guess that they were Firestones! Yea that ARB bumper looks way nice, but I think it is supposed to be real heavy (from what I hear). Boulder Bars makes a lighter and higher bumper than the ARB for more approach angle (this is what I am going to get after the New Year). Good luck w/your awesome looking KJ!

I had the impression that boulder bars wasn't going to sell their bumper for the liberty on a large scale. Is that true? if they did make one, I would get their's, cause like you said the ARB is incredible heavy.

I just had my tires out in the snow today for the first time, and they really good traction. But I got a awesome deal on those firestones. They sell for like 150 a tire and I got them for only 120 each. Got a great deal. But I guess there thread life is supposed to be great, I read some reviews of people getting over 40,000 miles on them, but it all depends on the driver and what there driving on everyday.

Well, if you go here http://www.cal4wheel.com/, there is a picture of the sweepstakes Liberty with a Boulder Bars bumper. The same people who worked on this Liberty also did mine for me (they are right in my city). I will eventually get my bumper from them after the New Year along w/Boulder Bar rock rails (they have some sort of direct dealing w/Boulder Bars, so they can get a lot of stuff for much cheaper!). Also, that is awesome about your tires! What a long tread life, 40,000 MILES!!! Enjoy those man! For anyone else looking to customize thier KJ, check out the above website and read up on what they put into it!

I do like that boulder bars bumper a lot better than the ARB, but I emailed them a while back and they never got back to me as whether or not they could make me one. Cause right now my M/T's are eating my current bumper alive, so it would be nice to get rid of that with a new metal bumper.

Hey man I totally understand with your MTs. If you want I can keep you posted once I get mine and then I can talk to the guys at my store and see if they have any info for you! Yours would definitely look sick if you got a real bumper! I'm sure all of ours would look a million times better!

Hey Bennett, is that your bumper? Yea, those ARBs look great, but are way to heavy and expensive. I would rather get the Boulder Bars because I hear its much cheaper and much lighter than the ARB.

No, its just a pic I found on the internet.

Heres the boulder bars, a bigger pic..

I like the looks of both, just the weight factor bothers me on the ARB.

How much does a boulder bar bumper go for? The arb is like 600 or so bux.

Well, that KJ pic w/the Boulder Bar bumper is the same KJ that my shop worked on. THe Boulder Bars, according to them, are not really out there yet, but my bud is trying to hook up a discount. He says that bar was donated, so he does not know the exact price, but he does know that it is much lighter than the ARB and will most likely be much less expensive based on fabrication of the bar and materials etc. I'll keep ya posted on the info when I get it. I will be getting my Boulder Bar bumper in about a month so I am happy about that \:D/
