    Cooling fan questions

Ok Thanks Ksat. Ive been sick this passed week so I havent had a chance to work on it. Im hoping this weekend to pick up some antifreeze and check out the boneyard for a new fan. Id like to be lucky and find one with the tow package, I can steal the mechanical fan also. I did notice that the...

Relays checked out fine, put power to them and checked resistance. Also the 40a fuse is good. 2004

    Cooling fan questions

I noticed some weeks ago, the ac quit blowing cold. Haven't used the Jeep much since I'm working on the sound system, but did need it to go get a Christmas tree. When I got home, I could hear bubbling from the engine, popped the hood and saw the reservoir tank bubbling. I checked the fan, and it...

    Relay question

Ok thanks for your input on this topic. I have a side topic now. The pre made harnesses are wired to be on or off ( no key on ). If I left the harness alone, hooked it all up the same way as described earlier, being that it runs through the 200amp power on relay, that should still function as...

    Relay question

I have the lights on switch though. The 200amp relay turns on the power distribution block. Ill show a pic of the wiring I was going to do. Or do you think its too much of an amp draw running through the switch?

    Relay question

Im running a 200amp relay that feeds a key on fused distribution block for some accessories. I want to add some LED lights up front and rear. Thought it would be easier to just purchase the premade wire harnesses. The harnesses both come with its own relay. I should be able to just remove these...

    Toggle switches

Did you use a panel, or are you using single switches? Did you have to remove the metal knee support?

A arm hitting spring while sitting in driveway

Ok, I dropped the clevis lift on pass side and that ended up giving me the same measurements and spacing to equal what I am reading on the drivers side. Id love the coilover lift, but Hurricane Ian wiped out my job on the island, so having limited budget right now. They had to take back the...

A arm hitting spring while sitting in driveway

Everything loose. Bounced the Jeep. Jacked up the Jeep and let it just drop several times. Its on slide plates I made so the wheels can slide in and out easier so it settles in a normal resting position. It is still 1/2" higher on passenger side. Yes Tom, one from an 08 thru 12 Clevis gap is...

    Toggle switches

Where did you guys mount your toggle switch for whatever accessories you added? I have a 3 panel switch but finding it hard to find a flat surface on the dash. Pics would be great

A arm hitting spring while sitting in driveway

Larger clevis from a newer Liberty ( mine is an 04 ), the one that is a bit longer. I did not. Upper and lower control arms were torqued to spec while the front end was on blocks. EDIT: OK, just watched some vids, guess I found my mistake. Thanks for pointing that out.

A arm hitting spring while sitting in driveway

So I just replaced everything up front. When I put the clevis back in, I left it about 1/4" gap for the clevis lift. On the pass side as it sits the spring is up against the a arm ( using the JBA arms ). I have the top plate and I have an 04 but I swapped to the larger clevis'. When I measure I...

    Blower Fan Intermittent the Stopped

Im going to say blower motor. Have you tried checking continuity to the motor when its been both working and not working? Reason Im saying blower motor, same thing was happening to my in the Ford Ranger from work. I checked over everything, even swapped out the resistor, since its cheap and easy...
