Previous to 04, the temp sensor was used by the BCM and was just there for the Evic, so was not installed unless Evic was. In 04 the temp sensor is installed in every KJ and the signal sent to the ECM for some sort of engine control. therefore you need an Evic from an 04 or newer KJ to read the...

mine, and I assume all limiteds, came stock from factory with 235/70-R16

04 GC evic does not display temp. in my 04 KJ. back door or lift glass open messages do not appear either, unless they are open when you start the KJ. then the messages won't go out until you turn off ignition. All other features work fine.

Do you have an EVIC? Mine does that, as it is past the service interval I set. says PERFORM SERVICE in evic for a few seconds after the beeps then returns to normal til next startup. going for oil change tomorrow and then will reset it.

I believe DRLs use the high beam lights not the low beams and run them at about 40% power And I personally think they are great As far as burning out bulbs quicker, the last vehicle I had for ten years, and the only bulb replaced was 1 front signal light

The 04 GC is probably an EVIC Evics have writing on the buttons Otis has writing under the buttons mine doesn't have homelink buttons either The Temp will not display with it though

bolt patern is the same but check the back space of the Ford rims to make sure they don't rub your brake calipers
