I know of no one who has been able to active the factory DRL feature by changing a setting in the computer. It's much easier to just add your own lights.
Situation got worse... I drove the Liberty instead of the TJ to work, as I can see the parking lot from my workstation, and I wanted to see if the headlights came back on. When I started the Liberty up, the gas light was on, and the tank was showing empty; the Jeep has a full tank. It drove to...
The battery tested at 12.93 V. Put it back in the Liberty, the headlights were off. I drove it to run an errand, and left it running the entire time. I got back home, turned off the ignition, took the keys out, and checked the headlights; they are off. This was at 10:30 AM. With everything...
That image of the PDB under the hood, I had checked it out; when I posted "I don't know where the relays are at, they're not the power distribution block," (should read "not in the") that wasn't clear... I see both the low and high beam relays, but not what I'm looking for, I don't think. They...
The headlights on our 2004 Liberty came on by themselves, and would not turn off after turning off the Jeep. The taillights are not on, only the headlights.
Full story, my wife calls me Thursday night to tell me the headlights are on as the KJ is sitting in the driveway. No one had driven...
Is this the wing you mean?
And I still can't find any information regarding frontal area trailer limits for the Liberty, nor for my TJ. Is the 64 sq. ft. limit listed in your owners manual?
I meant "new to me..." I re-read the towing section of my owners manual; it only states...
...but it doesn't give any info regarding the KKs limits in regards to the frontal area. Is the 64 sq. ft. limit in yours? I'm heading outside with a tape measure … edit … this camper measures 80 sq...

It's a 2011 model, very well maintained, but I don't know how new the brakes are. This model is supposed to be 17' long, but actual measurement from ball hitch to bumper is 19'.
Both! Short to start out with, get a feel for it.

I'm relatively new to towing; the most I've pulled is a pick-up truck bed sized trailer full of firewood with my TJ. We just bought a travel trailer, I did some research into what my Jeep TJ and my wife's Jeep Liberty KK could tow. I later found out that while my Jeep TJ can pull it, stopping...
The sticking issue is not cold related after all; it's been record-setting cold here, and the gear selector is working fine. I still need to get the bezel off and clean it out as suggested. I will post once I do.
Our 2012 Jeep Liberty KK, the gear selector sticks, or binds, after it has sent for more than six or so hours. The colder the weather is, the harder the selector is to force out of Park. Does anyone have any ideas that won't involve a trip to dealer? :help: I did an internet search and did...
On our '12 KK it is on the dash, center, by the windshield. It is a small dome about the size of a nickle. Use a small pry-bar or flat-tipped screwdriver to work it out of the socket. Disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness, being careful not to the let the harness fall into the hole...
