Power folding mirrors
Hi. Definitely don't try to get the cap off. I tried that first, but the mirror assembly is quite well sealed and has to be taken apart while off the car. Lots of fiddly screws and clips. I don't have the steps I'm afraid as I took it apart a few months back and can't really remember the...- sjriley123

Power folding mirrors
Hi. I have recently had to replace my mirrors for the same problem. I dismanteled the drivers side mirror assembly to check the folding mechanism. There is a large cog assembly and a smaller one that is attached to a motor. The large one had some broken teeth, and so the mirror would stop moving...- sjriley123
