Transmission leak
I talked to a transmission shop manager today (he got me a torque convertor for a 67 Dodge RT 440 restoration), and he thinks its most likely a pump seal that's leaking. But if it's a bushing, it can be repaired, instead replacing the trans. Several other shops wouldn't even talk without... -

Transmission leak
It's definitely ATF, I have a pan with paper towels to collect the drops. I've located other shops in the Colorado Springs area. Anytime I get under the Liberty, I can see the fluid drop by the weep hole. -

My 2012 Liberty's transmission leaks from the bell housing weep hole. I had it checked by a shop that I have used before, and after an visual check, I was told that leak is coming from most likely the pump bushing and it's not repairable and the transmission should be replaced. I trust this... -

'12 KK transmission dipstick?
My Liberty's transmission pan leaks. I'm planning to replace the filter and the gasket. Does anyone have an idea how to measure the fluid before I drain. Is there a dipstick from some other vehicle that would work? Thanks -

I finally got to work on my wife's '12 Liberty. I removed instrument panel yesterday and then the distribution box. Already had a new Mopar box, seal kit, and a heater core. I mentioned last time that both actuators work, so I stripped the old box today and I didn't find any melted glue or...- RamV10

Wife's '12 KK fan selector stuck on defrost
Among the many projects that I'm working on, I checked the actuators, both work. The gear for the mode door is broken, I've located the new distribution box and a Mopar seal kit. To be safe, I'm replacing the heater core too. Thanks Guys, Tony- RamV10

Wife's '12 KK fan selector stuck on defrost
We owned this KK for 10 years and it's never had any problems. All of the air from the fan comes out of the defroster and the outside dash vents. Is it a switch problem or the actuator or door not working? Thanks for any suggestions, Tony- RamV10

Since 1999, I've owned 3 Cherokees, an '85, '91, and a '98. Currently my wife drives a '12 KK (91,500 miles) and I have a '21 Cherokee Limited. I joined recently since the KK finally has a problem and I'll post the cause in the appropriate forum. Tony- RamV10
