i love my 6 speed! in some places it makes wheeling more difficult but i feel like im actually DRIVING the vehicle instead of just sitting in it pressing go and stop. just one idiots opinion though :)
Im not saying get ripped off... I never buy anything from a dealership. Alot of the stuff at a stealership is exactly the same as at an auto parts store. I'm just saying dont buy cheap knock off crap from ebay. Get OEM parts whenever possible. :)
I have no experience with autozone or oreilleys as I live in Canada. I do however have a Mopar pressure hose going in tomorrow. Ill let you know what I think of it after its been installed for a while. I would not recommend cheaping out on anything to do with your KJ especially if its a daily...
I replaced my steering rack about 6 months ago with a refurbished A1 Cardone. I too was very displeased with the quality. My steering wheel now has about 7 degrees of play. Like a dead zone where you turn the steering wheel and the tires dont start to turn yet. I rechecked all my work twice...
I just replaced mine today. Was $25 online shipped to my door. That's Canadian pricing though. Installation is easy just make sure the rubber ring around the stat is seated properly. The plastic housing that holds the stat is held on with two 8mm bolts. Good time to replace the rad hoses too if...
WOW parts are overpriced north of the border... BEST Canadian price I could find was online for $336... I can't imagine what a dealer would want. Awesome how-to though. I'll be doing my hub this weekend if it gets here in time.
