Brake lights not working....help
Disassemble the brake light housing from the vehicle and look inside at the bulb contacts. I had this problem on mine. Took me months to figure it out. Turned out the plastic had melted a bit and was preventing connections. Found the previous owner had put the wrong bulbs in and they generated...- Johnny O

Survey on AT tires being used

New to the Liberty -- how many miles can I expect
Mine (well sortra mine- I gave it to my kid) has over 300k on it. Still the factory drive train. 200k of that is mine and about 50k miles off road and bouncing through the desert. If the price is right, nothing wrong with that mileage. Like any vehicle, do your maintenance, keep an eye out for...- Johnny O

Got the new starter in Bert. All is well. Up and running on the factory drive train with 300k miles on it. Kids bought the wrong one initially. After a talk with the guys at NAPA (Oh, yeah, forgot to mention their regional manager is a friend I've done business with for decades) Got a brand new...- Johnny O

Wifey had major surgey and is recovering well, so finally had some time to work on Bert in between wound care and drain purges (gross even by Biologist standards)... Replaced starter. Greased the JBAs. Cleaned the snorkel pre and post filters. Re-wired the rear spot lights. Polished headlamp...- Johnny O

Hmmm. Electrical is good. Suspect is wrong starter or is improperly torqued. Tough to troubleshoot when you don't know what all happened.- Johnny O
