hey, how was your tj bumper mounted? this is a regular tj front bumper correct? did you have to relocate you washer bottle? is there a link to a thread you have? thx
i did the 2.5 lift today and got the tires mounted and put on (BFGoodrich 255.70.16) very lil rubbing good recommendation i love the lift and i cant wait to test it the front struts took forever!!
I have forgotten about this site til OneOneNine sent me a pm on here and I saw it on my email. I've went to LOST forum and that's where I'm at now... :)
If your using stock rims, you'll have rubbing when you turn all the way- such as in and out of a parking space. But you can probably live with it for 2 weeks. From what I've been told every kj is a little different so you won't know for sure until you put them on. You should be okay for 2 weeks though
Thanks! And I have an OME/Rancho lift with a top plate and clevis lift. I run 265/70s- no rubbing up front because I have a TJ bumper up front, without that I wouldve had some rubbing. My pinch welds are pounded and l clear that by about a 1/2 inch. You can probably fit that tire size, but over time your daystar lift with sag your springs, so you'll rub then. Another thought is gas mileage, I went from 15mpg with stock wheels to 12mpg with 265/70. Best of luck with the lift, be sure to post pics when your done!:D
