    Clunking noise when shifting

    Check the rear support arms. There are bushings that ware out and when shifting or going over speed bumps the clunky noise comes out and sounds like it’s in the standard transmission.

    06 Liberty - Battery Light - Still on after alternator and battery change

    It’s going to be a component in the computer. Check Rockauto for replacement’s they have the best write ups on how to replace these. Also have the best prices. May need to have a dealer reset the chips for mileage.

    There is a position sensor just under the shift cover. It’s on top in the cabin.
