transmission slipping please help!
$1800 sound about right for a real rebuild. I recently had to have one (unfortunately). As long as your getting the "works". New torque converter, rebuilt pumps, new clutches, etc. PS> In my opinion 80% of transmission shops don't have a clue what they are doing (or to put it another way...- cj847

Is this too much play in the drive shaft?
Sounds like a suspension issue to me. When you are on and off the brake the suspension is usually cycling in some way as well. The play in your video is normal. Up, down, in, out, side to side no, but rotationally OK (to a point).- cj847

O2 Sensor Confusion Clear Up
Just for clarification - Bank 1 is the bank with cylinder #1 and bank 2 is the other one (doesn't matter if it's a V engine or an in line engine, bank 1 contains cylinder 1). Help please: Error code P0201
Did you clear the code when you replaced the injector and the code came back? If you replaced the injector it seems it has to be in the wiring. Not sure what you are doing with the TPS, but that shouldn't be part of the P201.- cj847

Transmission interchange
The rest of the story: The torque converter failed and the debris stopped up a hole to the pump, then the trans just ate itself. Even the planetarys were toast. Complete rebuild, I think they re used about 10 parts from the old trans......everything else is new.- cj847

I have a 2004 4x4 with 86k miles. Yesterday, cruising the freeway it went clunk and shifted out of overdrive. I pulled over, turned if off then back on. It will not move.....it's not even in limp mode. Codes are P700, P740, P715, and P734. I was hoping it's just a solenoid issue, but usually...- cj847
