Another way to know is if someone on here had a loose D30A pinion laying around, or knew the length measurement. Then I could compare lengths when the Yukon’s arrive.

I’ve been running a Lubelocker since putting a new diff cover on the 8.25. No RTV or sealants needed, no leaks so far at 10k since change. They make one for the 42RLE so I was gonna try that out next. Still need thread sealant for that one bolt though. D30 Lubelocker should work for the D30A also.

Overall though, I want to point out that I got a good deal on the YG D30HD-410L, over $150 off msrp. Got a spare front diff from LKQ sent by mistake, they told me to keep it and refunded my money for the trouble so I’m just gonna drop it off with the R&P and install kit at my buddy’s. If it’s...
