Alright so I’m in the middle of a transfer case rebuild. But I broke a ring and can’t seem to find a replacement. Does anyone have a number or a lead on the retaining ring that is right on the oil pump? It’s also the same ring that holds the rear output bearing in place.

Thank you! I was able to pull what i think is the correct part number based off of image searches. the ring im looking for was discontinued by MOPAR years ago (Figures). But i did find a company who sells a small parts kit for the 231J based off that part number, so ill try that.

Thank you all for your help!

C-clips are a standardized fastener. Might want to check with McMaster-Carr or Graingers.

I got a similar clip for my Norton at a Massey Ferguson dealer on a cross country trip. Great parts guy!
