G'day all,
My front left glass (passengers here in oz) tilts forward when winding up. At the very bottom it's so bad the window stops till you physically tilt it back. I've replaced the mechs, with no difference. The other side looks and feels exactly the same, but the glass goes staight up and down without issue.
Anyone else come across this?
I should mention that it's a 2007 model and the windows are the type with tthe hole in the glass.

Regards,
Sean.

Check the tracks for the window. I'm not sure about these Jeeps but some vehicles have tracks that bolt in, and others that are welded from the factory. Either way, make sure they're there and not bent in way they shouldn't be. Also make sure the window is in the track in all positions. If the track is bent away from the glass, ir may still hold it in the track, but not firmly enough to keep it straight.

All looks normal inside, the tracks are bolted on and do not appear to be bent. I can't for the life of me see any difference between the drivers side and the passengers side. It has me stumped.

Update: looks like I figured out the problem, after not being able to look at this for a couple of weeks I jumped back in today. After pulling the rubbers from the tracks I pushed the button, and up the glass went, nice and straight. Gave the rubbers a spray with some silicone lube and wiped them down, refitted and, voila! Appears to be dry rubbers causing the issue.
Thanks for the replies, I can't believe that no-one has had the problem before........

Sean.
