Soon to start the Michigan rust removal on my 04.
shopping list;
phosphoric acid, 2 gallons
2qt B.L.O
2qt penetrating oil
chimney brush, clip and weld to an extension
bag of wire brushes
bag of towels
box of candy bars to feed the heartbreak that I'm soon to realize.
I'll be replacing all the hardlines as I finish this up.
2 coils of 3/16" tube
50' of heat shrink tube
15 pair of compression fittings
I'm trying to do this on a thin budget, leftovers will be used under the hood and in the front end when the radiator is replaced.
If any of you have had good results with anything cheaper, please let me know. I had a garage when I started doing my own work but now I gotta handle these things like a cheap date somewhere away from home. I had to move in with my ma to take care of her and she's in a condo. A person can't even wash their vehicle in the lot man.
