Today is 5/3/2024, and I decided to run a diagnostic test due to check engine light. So what has me confused is that I'm get IAC code and my jeep don't have an IAC. Ok so now my question is why am I getting a code for IAC when it doesn't have one.....anyone know, and how to fix....thanks in advance. JEEP NATION

I am not super sure but I’ll take a shot at it. Because the 07 has an electric throttle body that is computer controlled rather than a cable attached to the drivers foot, the computer can keep the throttle body barely open at idle and do what the IAC does in older models. Thus if you have an IAC code or it dies at idle, you could try cleaning the carbon off of the throttle body so that the crescent moon shaped opening of the butterfly valve at idle is the perfect mm2 of area again.
