i have isolated it to the radio harness... i connected ONLY the main black connector leaving the antenna, nav antenna, and aux hookup for my GROM iphone disconnected. the fuse shorted in minutes... now i have removed the entire radio... and no shorting. so i'm guessing i pinched i wire stuffing...

i just installed a set of HIDs... they are an improvement for sure. i had originally put in the sylvania 9007 SilverStar Ultra's... i was not impressed. my only regret with the HIDs is that i didn't get BI-XENONs.
i like what little they did to the renegade... blacked out headlamps, mat-finish on hood... but is is a bit lacking.
the wrangled mountain edition looks great! but the prices for these things is getting crazy. i remember when i bought my 2000 TJ sport for just over 15K.
