I have an 02 with a damaged engine. Most of the 02 engines (used) have high mileage, but I see lots of 04, 05 engines with low mileage but am told there are differences in the engines. What are they? Can I install an 04/05 in my 02 ?

I have a bit more to add, I removed the intake manifold and could see down the intake port. I saw a intake valve and a valve seat stuck together. I didn't see much of the piston at this point, so I can't determine if its damaged. Any one know what kind of compression/piston style...
