So i have an 03 with the manual transmission...i'm pretty sure that it is the NV1500. Since the damn thing almost refuses to go into gear when it's cold--what would it take to upgrade to the NV3500? Would it be a just a swap job or would there need to be some kind of adapter to bolt it up?

I'm really past due for new shocks and struts. Any suggestions? I was thinking of doing a 2" lift. I have 17 inch rims and don't know what size tires i could fit without rubbing....god i'm such a noob. should i replace ball joints? 125k miles and running strong....need input!:D
