I know it was sort of mentioned, but there is an episode of mythbusters that shows different types of attempts to use hydrogen fuel and none of them worked. If it was that easy to setup cheap free power to your vehicle, i think it would be clear since lots of people would be using it.

Found the block heater, all hiding over there, damn hidden cables. Guess we'll see tomorrow. Today my MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) came on, hopefully it's because of this horrid weather. (Prays)
