Tranny sensor replaced under warranty last year. Good thing, too. They charged almost $800 for the service and I had just changed my fluid and filters!
I noticed Rick Shaw touting 33 mpg from AZ to CALI. I live in AZ and the warmer temperatures produce better mpg's. I can get 32 hwy if I keep my foot tame. Usually, it is nearer 28. Sounds as if you are running too cool to me.
When in doubt, shell it out . . . cash, that is! I went through the same thing on my '99 Ram 5-speed. Lube shop didn't carry the recommended lube for that tranny either, so I hopped down to the local dealer and picked up what they needed.
Whether he did or not, I have to chime in with the same symptoms that led me to a bad battery last year. Also, check the main (+) positive feeder cable attachment into the relay box. Chrysler (specifically, my Dodge Ram) had the same thing and I found the main feed cable loose inside the box...
Good info to have. I'm sure the manufacturer knows about their parts interchange . . . just don't say it so loud as to draw attention to the fact or they will start charging extra for it! (as if they don't already $$$)
How about a BDS for a lot less: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45560
It's nice and stout, too: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2963&d=1278638564
Same here. I already view on a widescreen and every forum I currently subscribe to views fine, even Jeep Militia - your OTHER site.
On a positive note: at least the flash ads and pop-ups aren't as annoying as they were.
That's funny! It IS easier with the rear tires/wheels removed.
Okay, before anybody else pipes in here: jacking it up to do all of this would be advised.
The U-haul in Fairmont sells them: http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Hitches.aspx
Looks to be the same style as the etrailer.com brand that pops up in the ads on this site.
