My trailer running lights and my dashboard illumination lights went out last night when towing.. I can't find any bad fuses.. need help troubleshooting.
The interior (i.e. dome) lights still work but I can't see the speedometer at night since it has gone "dark".
Hazard lights still light...
I noticed that I'm getting some rust build-up on my 2006 already as seen in my air-lift install picture below. Does anybody paint their undercarriage/suspension parts to keep the rust under control. I'm sure the Minnesota road salt has contributed to this rust.

It seems the front diff has a heavy duty protector on the front of it... does this swing out of the way once you unbolt it?

In case you haven't noticed, the parking brake on most KJ's doesn't do much until you get to the last click... I recommend you park on slight hill and put your KJ in neutral and just use the parking brake to see how far you have to pull it to hold...
Noob owner of an 06 Sport 4x4 with the tow package. The fan noise from the Boeing 737 cooling fan makes me wonder how much power this fan might be sucking unnecessarily.
Does anyone know if the fan clutch on these is thermal activated, or just rpm based. What is the temp or RPM rating for it...
