New ball joints Had my oil changed last week and the dealer put the new ball joints in while it was being serviced. They did not mention any shortage.

My 05 has no lash when in full time. I only have 5,000 miles on it so it might develop later.

Yes you can. It is not the simpliest job I have ever done. Torqueing the rear bolt is very difficult. The simpliest way is to drill a hole on each side underneath the bumper in the plastic so that you can fit an extension in the hole. The hole can not be seen unless you look under the bumper.

I had this happen to my 05 a couple of weeks ago. It has not happened again. It must be a jeep thing. Smitty

65 ft lbs are the instructions that come with the hitch and skid. The supplied bolts have a threadlock on them. Smitty

The hitch does go over the skid. Smitty

Put a floor jack under the gas tank skid. Remove six bolts. These screw directly into the frame. The holes in the frame are threaded. Use a bottle jack to hold the hitch up against the gas tank skid and replace the six bolts and torque to 65 ft lbs. Job done. Smitty

My 05 Limited also has the third visor.

I purchased the extended warranty on a dodge truck and 2 years later I traded the truck for a KJ. Paid almost 2000 for extended warrenty. Received back 750.00
