So where can I buy a SpongeBob LibertyPants at? Mine is all dirty, kinda greasey on the bottom but clean on the top 3/4. I took my K&N out and damn is it dirty but the intake is super clean.
I have a few rolls of unused newsprint, get them for free... sounds like i might be sitting on a gold mine. I'll have to try it out, the rolls are nice when moving, you can pack up glass and not cover yourself in ink.
Rotated them about every 7K, but they are nobby mud-type tires and I put the 30K in about 1yr with most highway time. I know what street tires I'm getting I'm just wondering about the snow/mud tire suggestions.
So for anyone who has used the general grabber at2's how did they run in the mud...
Well the current tires are GY's and are worn out at 30K on a 50K warranty so I will be getting credit towards other GY's. I was just going to go GY street tires and do a spare set of deep snow/mud tires.
So the tires I have on the Libby are almost due for replacing and with all the city/highway driving I believe I'm going to drop back to the 235/70R16's that came on her and in a street tire. I'm considering buying a set of low cost/high quality wheels and putting mud/snow tires on for when...
only twice and i just got hung up on logs in rutted out mud holes like this (and some of the lifted guys gut hung up on them also)
me coming out of the hole getting stuck on the log
it took a few min to figure out how to get me across this stream and onto the flat rocks but once we got...
On the 31st went on a trail ride with the West Virginia Jeep Club that i recently joined, most of them were thinking i was in for a long day of getting stuck but i proved them wrong about the libby \:D/
here's a mix of my pics and pics someone else there was taking...
Well she stopped stalling and cutting off after i turned the selector to off but she still will stall and cut off while at a stop if the a/c is on or the selector is in the feet or defrost option. she seems to be idling at a high rpm now than she was when i first got back home so maybe a night...
you read my mind... gonna spend a lil time w/ rubbing compound tomorrow to fix up the tree and rhododendron encounters. Any suggestions on what's the best for pinstriping?
Oh I'll have pics in the next day or two. There were others there taking pics and i hope they got some good shots of me...
So I went on a trail ride w/ a group of wranglers and cherokees today from the JeepinWV club. Had a blast and impressed them all and myself. I guess at one point i had my air set to the "blow on my feet" position. I'm sure the a/c is on in the position and after much mud and so on my KJ would...
I don't agree with the cell phone use at the pump being dangerous.
Leaving the car running while you fill up just doesn't seem like a great idea espically since most cars now bitch at you if the gas cap is off or loose.
Smoking at the pump is just down right stupid to me, why not use that...
The dealer quoted me a $9,000 trade in on my 01 TJ with 80,000 miles and had a ton of dealership work done on it to fix the problems it had. I don't think my dad was happy about that quote cause he said he'd put a downpayment of the trade in since my brother kept the TJ before we got the quote.
I've got an 06 6 speed manual renegade also and yeah when i pull out on to Main Street here from the street i live on my ESP will flash and cut the push of the engine. It only happens if i'm shifting, turning and hit the pot hole in the intersection at the same time. I'm guessing it just has to...
As far as type goes I can't help you (that's something I was wondering myself). But I can tell you that 245/70R16's are what you're going with unless you want the tires to rub.
My KJ is stock other than the 245/70R16 tires, just a tad wider and taller than the stock off road package size, and i've not gotten worse than 15 and no better than 20MPG. I have a the 6speed manual transmission which could explain the drastic differences. On a recent trip from WV to NC I made...
