    Where there is smoke there is a defective switch. Tonight I replaced the ignition switch that I had seen smoke from and the new switch resolved all 3 electrical issues.

    After looking at the wiring diagram I took some measurements at the connector that feeds the turn signal multi function switch (chalk ?). I first verified that at fuse 11, there was 12V present. I think section 8W-52-2 Turn Signals refers to this connector but the color codes didnt match...

    Evap slow leak

    I do not know if there is/isnt a valve but I was recently seeing a P0442 code on my 2003 3.7L that ended up being caused by a failing pump to eject the fumes from the gas tank.
