    Passenger front window

If it is the plastic glass bracket, just change it with an aftermarket one made of metal. Changed all 4, seven years ago and never had an issue since. The front door brackets are different from the rear ones. Below is a link on ebay I just found with the front ones...

A Little Fuzzy On Upgrading Speakers...

Most of the car manufacturers don't use crossovers, they only use a capacitor for safety reasons, so that the tweeters will not blow up with the signal's lower frequencies... The dash speaker is a midrange speaker. I also kept everything, in case I decide to sell it. Although, with all the...

A Little Fuzzy On Upgrading Speakers...

I installed BAMM (well not exactly BAMM, this was from another company which was easier to install on the inside of the door) on the outer door skin, then BAMM on the inner door skin (closed it completely) and then BAMM on the door plastic. I attached some photo's... Sound is fantastic! Also...

    4x4 shifting issue

Mine did the same thing (and also when in 2WD the light said Part Time). Changed the transfer case switch and o ring. All is fine now...

A Little Fuzzy On Upgrading Speakers...

The path I went through had 2 steps: 1. Replace OEM Head unit with a new Kenwood DMX-8020DABS (European Model) unit along with AXXESS ASWC-1 to retain steering wheel buttons. I refurbished the speaker cone suspensions with "6.5" Speaker Foam Repair Kit for Jeep" and all speakers worked fine...

    Window switch/regulator issue

I replaced all 4 on 2017 with metallic ones for 72$ from ebay. The OEM are plastic and finally brake... Since then, I do not have any problem. As far as I can see though you have a different issue now, not the plastic lift plates. Just have it in mind cause they will brake some day...

    4x4 shifting issue

In order to insert the bushing, I had to remove the transfer case wire from the bracket which is about 40cm before the end of the wire. Therefore, I could lower the wire without bending it, in order to fit the bushing...

    4x4 shifting issue

Most probably the transfer case lever bushing. You can find it underneath where the transfer case lever cable meets the transfer case. Mine had disintegrated... I used the aftermarket bushingfix JL1Kit1. It works fine so far...

HOW TO: Change Transfer Case Position Switch

Just changed the transfer case switch on mine. Thanks for the "how to", it really helped a lot! It took me 30 mins, and I took my time... I also changed the transfer case lever bushing with the JL1Kit1. Now the lever and indication on the dash work fine!

Lift, Big Tires Now I need big gears

Regearing to 4.10 was the best thing I did after lifting! The Jeep now behaves as stock! I have the automatic, so in this case, to me, regearing is a must if you plan to fit 245/75R16 tires as I do. If you have the automatic, don't forget to program the ECU for the bigger tires! This is the only...

2007 Liberty Vehicle Speed Sensor input

I upgraded the radio with Kenwood DMX-8020DABS but as far as I remember, I did not need the vehicle speed sensor wire, I only needed the PCI BUS to connect to the AXXESS ASWC-1, in order to retain the steering wheel functions. I also needed the reverse (got it from the passenger reverse light)...

    New headlights?

This is no longer true. There are very good LED bulbs on the market but they are expensive. I have installed the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 LED bulbs which are excellent. The beam pattern is exactly the same as with the halogen bulbs, only they have much more light and daylight color temp instead of...

If you change tyre diameter you have to insert the new revs per mile to the jeep's computer. This is for a 2004 with DRBIII, 2005 uses CAN bus so you have to check if this is needed and how it is done... However, I am sending you the link for the DRBIII procedure...

The fuel consumption dropped a little when I regeared to 4.10. The most important think is that with 245/75R16 MT tyres, the Jeep could not hold the OD even in the slightest ascent. Now, with 4.10 gearing the Jeep behaves as it did without tyres/lift etc.

Just for the record, here in Greece I was not able to find the front diff Spicer ring & pinion and it was very expensive to ship it (and pay customs) from US. So I found used gears from a 2.4l. As for the rear I've got new gears from Whitelk, an Italian company with very good reputation on...

When you lift it with the OME lift kit, it would be best to regear to 4.10 (from 3.73). You can use used ring & pinion gears from the 2.4l gas engine Liberties if you want to save money. Believe me, it is worth it!

    2005 Liberty Sport

Try the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 LEDs. They have an internal sealed fan, and therefore heat is generated inside the headlight. I do not know however whether this is enough for your climates...
