I post this earlier as I’m still cleaning them out and waiting for a clear day for the most current pictures.
I already feel sick to my stomach letting these go. I’ll miss the go anywhere over anything capabilities but maybe someone else can enjoy them.
The 2002 and 2003 both have full JBA...
Trust me. Washing the sand mud slurry mix after my few mud bog runs was hell. It dries like cement in the radiators.
I love what you did. I’d totally do the same thing when one of mine comes off road permanently
I feel horrible for commenting on this and not proof reading.
Replace the 2 with a 1
On road trips where I only stop for gas , I got a high as 270s once
Yes I run both stock rims with cooper AT/4 and the Moab wheels with 265/75/16 10 ply etc
Doesn’t seem to matter. And the 03 is my...
Appreciate the effort to help but my jeep doesn’t have ABS or sensors in the bearings. This is my 2002. The speed sensor I’m referring to sits ontop of the rear dif (same as the 03 with abs as the abs sensors on wheels bearings)
My rant was how poorly labeled , described and listed this part...
Dude. We can do that with our hitch? I’d be super interested if I could confirm the bumpy choppy snow roads during our storms wouldn’t cause that to snap off
And sourcing a spare pigtail for the sensor comes up as a power steering switch. But check this out. Can also be used for a abs wheel speed sensor for the front left. None of which is true for 2002 without abs or even my 03 with abs lol. It’s amazing that anyone can even find these parts...
My jeep eats speed sensors. One a year. Usually around December / January. Harness was replaced and is not compromised by any means. Just dead sensors : or cuts in and out.
So this is the one that sits ontop of the rear end. Curious as to why they call it the ABS sensor across various sites...
Ya whatever the lingo is these days lol I just meant I saw ya respond to someone in another post.
With a house full of kids I understand the lack of time and responses, as I can go weeks before i get a free moment
I have a 02 and 03. The 03 is neck snapper when you touch the brakes, Using all Napa parts.
I think the 02 is sluggish because of rear drums and moabs with 10ply
really tho. Drilled slotted rotors are for extreme use , temperatures. Anyone who knows wouldn’t use on a kj… unless it’s geared...
I see no benefit of holes in your rotors for a jeep. Slots would just hold the mud right ?
You’re gonna abuse the pads and rotor surface anytime you get into mud sand water.
I can’t get those brands. I have to stick to heavy duty blanks with the coating on the hats(saves me a step)
I need new...
Well my spring list just got longer. Valve cover gaskets leaking again. At this point maybe consider new valve covers .
The 4 year old Y pipe broke off at the hanger by the transmission pan. Got some heat wrap and fiberglass with clamp for now to close the hole.
And blizzard damage. Smh.
hey I even offered a couple times to come to you from Buffalo to do that 4:10 swap and disc conversion and throw a few back. Then I had kids and my free time went to nothing
